Wait, you don't care about Dumbledore's history and how it binds the entire HP series together, but you fret over what happened to the Dudley's?

Dude, you've got some messed up priorities!

I didn't mind the way Voldemort died... it made sense, BUT, I would have liked it to be a little more impressive. A simple, "bang, he's dead" is a serious letdown. Very anti-climactic. In a straight-up face-to-face showdown, Harry would have been dead meat... the only thing that made him special was the horcrux ties he posessed, and the lucky stroke that his wand was the twin of Voldemort's. I think something like the Elderwand was necessary. Harry wasn't a prodigy or anything (trying his best, Harry failed to even take down Snape!), and Voldemort was a freakin' god among spellcasters. Had it not been for the wand backfiring, Harry would certainly have lost a duel without his phoenix feather wand to protect him.

I also like the fact that Harry learned the truth about Snape through the pensive. Think about it... Snape killed Dumbledore, disclosed top secret information to the Deatheaters, and blasted off George's ear with a curse. Do you honestly think Harry would have believed anything Snape confessed to him? And again, Harry couldn't kill Snape... he proved that right after Snape off'd Dumbledore, so a confession like you suggest would be unlikely. By learning the story through the pensive, he had access to Snape's true memories... there was no way it could have been a lie. It HAD to be done that way.

haha well my priorities are with the making of a better story and i think jk only used dumbledores story to relate to the deathly hallows which was a crappy idea nonetheless. she should had gone without the elder wand crap and just given harry a better way to be able to kill voldemort.

and i do think that if she had written the right way, we could had gotten harry to believe snape with snapes own words. it just suck that snape never got to come clean to the whole wizard community about his true alliance.

anyways it was a disapointing way to end a great series. she could had way better.

now how would you had liked it to end?
