(1) "what is that?" "it's a Toyota Yaris" "Yea, those Scion's are pretty sweet." "sigh" (2) "is that a hybrid" "nope" "what kind of gas millage do you get?" "about 43." "wow." (3) "that runs on e-85 doesn't it?" "nope. Just gasoline." "no, it runs on e-85." "I don't think so man." "I'm pretty sure you're wrong there." "sigh" (4) "Is that a hybrid?" "nope" "I'm gonna get a ford escape, they get great gas mileage" "sigh" |

I've had my Yaris about 12 days and I've been asked if it's a hybrid about five or six times already. And that's not to mention how many times I've been asked if it's an EV or a Smart car (I get that one a lot). I had one guy actually try and argue with me that it was a hybrid, assuming no engine could possibly get 40 mpg.
