Really now...do you know if the subs are even suitable for porting? Better yet..since your on the porting kick what should he be tunning them to? Larger sealed enclosure will reduce the max power he throws to it but will also gain him a bit in the lower octaves. Depending on the sub it could very well be too little airspace for a vented enclosure (once you allow for port displacement within the enclosure) or even still :shock: it could be even too small for a pair sealed. The port in the middle is less than ideal as well. Doesn't appear to be enough depth in there to route a decently sized port in there. I realize that you may be half kidding but I figure I may as well pad my post count while I'm here .
