That, and if I want to special order a MT LB S, am I hosed since I'm in a zone that appearantly doesn't get them?

When I ordered my S LB, I ordered options that wre not offered in my region. I believe any dealer can order you a car with whatever options you want. If the dealer says he can't, it's because he doesn't want to. From what I was told, a salesman doesn't "get credit", i.e. comission, from a car sale until the car is delivered. I have to wait 12 weeks to get my Yaris, thats 3 months the salesman has to wait to get his cut. He didn't seem too upset, but this was also at one of the largest Toyota dealers in the midwest, so cars are going out of there constantly. My advice is to call dealer after dealer until you find one that will order you a car.
