Good to hear we NOW have daily backups. Do we have better security? Are we going to be able to recover the rest or do we have to start this all over again. And for the HACKER I hope you walk out your front door, go check the mail, and get hit by a Yaris.

+1 Since we have 2 models HB and SD he should get hit twice this really sucks Glad to see that everyone is coming aboard again!

Hey at least my avatar reminds me how my cars was! Someone should die for this! but seeing all the old stuff is kind of cool!

I find it a bit odd that the forum went a whole year without a backup? Most forums I have helped to moderate made backups daily to weekly depending on size.

I would just like to suggest to the admin that he should contact his host. The actual database of the forum (which is what has been lost) is stored separately on the server which only the owner of the server has access to. That owner might have made his own backups.

I am assuming this site doesnt run on a dedicated server since its relatively small.

I am really sorry to hear about the loss btw. This site helped me a lot with my Yaris last year. I will do what I can to contribute.

This is disappointing how a lot of information is completely gone, but like you guys said, we will bounce back 2-fold. I'm sure YarisWorld will be better than ever now! Thank you YarisBueller for all your hard work on getting our website back up and running
