Basically, if you're going to angle your shifter like me, make sure that angle doesn't start until at least about an inch and a half down the shifter. Otherwise the stock shift knob will hit the angle before it gets a chance to screw on, if that makes any sense.

Because I sat in the car and held everything exactly how I thought I wanted it and it turned out to be at an angle. That is kind of what I'm saying... take it as an opportunity to totally fit the shifter to your preferences, but be careful at the same time. You can't get a replacement for that stick without buying the whole cage.

Ahh I see. Alright, I'll have to do that. I ordered my boot to be 2.5" shorter already, but I guess I'll have to mess with it.

you are correct sir....no more garbage in this body until I go on mid tour. then I will make a b-line to the nearest BK cause I am freaking really wanting real meat...not the camel or whatever it is they have here!
