Water Spots
I have water spots on my windows. They don't come off with normal washing and using a squegee (sp?) at the gas station doesn't do anything. What's a good product out there that can clear up my glass?

Mix vinigear / water spray on windshield and wipe with a newspaper works great.

i don't mind the idea of a vinegar/water mix but will it take off water spots? hell, i should just do it and see if it works, plenty of newspaper and vinegar here. just don't like wasting time.

Hey guys!
Im new here and I just got a Yaris, I also have water spots on my windows and mirrors.... I tried armor all glass wipes and nothing worked..... I took it to a car wash and they left a pritty clean interior and exterior, BUT THE SPOTS DIDNT COME OFF! they said that I have to Polish them.... Is that true?... Ive seen cars in sale lots that have that and two people said that already.... Im just afraid that "polishing" tha windows and mirros wont mess them up. PS: this is the armor all whipes I used... dont WORK AT ALL!!!! WTF ARMOR ALL!!! everything of this brand used to work LOL |

People who think vinegar is good for water spots haven't seen hard water spots.
I've tried about 12 glass cleaners, vinegar, wd40, awesome orange, purple power, alcohol - nothing works. Fine steel wool is my next step, then spot-x or CLR, then I'm getting new windows... |

Those Armor All wipes are THE WORST!!!! I got a package with tire cleaner, wheel cleaner, glass wipes, etc. Well I'm glad I didn't just purchase the glass wipes because I would be disgusted. Streaks all over, even wiping til the wipe is dry.
