Do your stock headers look like these from a 1.3 litre Echo?

Or like these from a 1.5 litre Echo?

A guy on Ozecho has swapped the 1.5 litre manifold (the one with the longer primaries) onto his 1.3 litre and is happy with the improvement.

Did you guys just get the 1.3 litre motor, or do you have those type of headers even on the 1.5 litre motors?

The only engine available in the US is the 1NZ-FE (1.5L)

You should be aware that there are some differences on external components between the 1.5L on the first gen Yaris/echo and the second gen yaris.

The intake for example is different. The exhaust manifold (header) is very similar between the 2 but there is a slight difference. So a first gen 1.5 yaris/echo header won't fit into a Second gen Yaris unit.

If you are looking for a header option for a first gen Yaris/echo, then you should look for the first gen scion xB and xA headers. Those will fit onto a first gen Yaris.

What I was alluding to was that if the 1.5 Yaris came with a similar longer primary header than the 1.3 litre Yaris (as it did in the Echo), then that may be a cheaper option for the OP to look into instead of an aftermarket one.

I have a stack of assorted Echo parts, sadly no Yaris bits though to be able to thoroughly compare them.
