There really is only one James Bond for me - Sean Connery. He was a rough hard assed guy who probably liked guns and was definitely into bar room brawls. He also said that women need "a good backhand now and then to keep them in line" - something I can understand but not approve of doing.

The current James Bond hates firearms. That's his choice but one wonders why a person who hates gun plays James Bond. That's like asking a gay man to do a movie scene with a woman, it's kind of insincere.

I agree, nobody will be as good as Sean Connery was as Bond. Pierce Brosnan was ok, better than the current Bond. At least he was suave and sophisticated. (something that Connery was, along with being a badass) Maybe it's the blonde hair/blue eyes that throw me off, or how soft-spoken he is...he just doesn't fit.
