I've been very happy with Zacks. Have used the latest incarnations on several vehicles dating back into the mid 80's and really had no reason to gamble on other brands when the time came to equip our new vehicles. Not saying other brands aren't good. I've just had no reason to change.

Soory dont know the "zacks"? What are Zacks? nicknamin for? I hear the General Altimax are same as Gislaved and Nokians and made in DE. Good for low $$. The Winterstorm looked the most agressive , but I will probably be regretting the tire noise on the Interstate on dry days. Ill grim and bear it!

i'd like gislavid's, but i'm settling for the firestone winterforces; 185/60/15s

sure would have been nice to find a set of 14" toyota rims for a cheaper 185/65/14s

I think the tirerack has 14's for like 35 bucks - but the TPMS wont retrofit or work

Oh, got it. Dumb me for not figuring out the #1 well known ice tire in the US. I would call them 'Stones Blizzies" though.
