If you are going to go to a muffler shop to do a custom piping, don't waste your money on an overpriced axleback. You can get a full catback done for less than a Tanabe axleback.

A 2 in catback is plenty. You can go 2 1/4 inch but it will be a little louder.

agreed

if youre serious about gains get a catback custom made (or resonater-back in this case)

magnaflow said that the cat and res were 2" straight thru and the res-back piping is currently 1.75"

get a custom 2" mandrel-bent exhaust with a muffler of your choice....likely cheaper than many of the axlebacks available...
