Why don't you try it? The weatherstrip is cheap. You obviously live somewhere where it cold enough for things outside to freeze.

I don't need to try it because I already know what will happen. When it's cold out...it will freeze.

Now... if you live somewhere where it doesn't freeze, this mod is just fine.
