It works, but you have to understand what it does.
It does NOT make your car faster (0-60, 1/4 mi., etc.) or affect the actual horsepower at all. It does not open up the throttle farther than it already opens. It does not affect fuel mixture or delivery to the cylinders. It simply changes the the message from the pedal to the ECU to make it think that you are pressing the pedal down farther than you are. It makes the car FEEL faster in normal driving, BUT... IF you just drove by slamming your foot to the floor, you'd never ever notice the function of this device. Does that help explain it?
