I guess my question is why? I know the car comes with them installed. So what? Are we all so lazy that we can not just check our tires once in a while?
Tire rack wants $90 for each of 4 sensors, then when I bolt on my summer tires, I have to take it somewhere to have them tell the car to read them? and then again in the winter? Poor planning on Toyota's part if you ask me... "here yo go, you now have tire pressure monitoring, but! It's gonna cost you!" Could they not have just had it be capable of having two sets in memory?! I think I'll just install the switch and call it a day. Yeah, I'm that guy that actually does check his tires once a month anyways... |
