No - you're thinking of having your frst-born before the father WANTED to be in the hospital room (or was that "was forced to be..."?)

Sorta!!!! but a friend of mine found that the only hospital in Dade County (Miami area) that allowed it in 73, was a small hospital in Hialeah....my daughter and son were born in 72 and 73 in Miami Shores Hosp.

I was there for the next 3 though....even though it's 'expected' nowadays, sorry I missed the 1st 2.

Anyone remember "theh first remote" for tvs? It was a tuning fork in a box that when you pushed the button on top of the box it struck the tuning fork turning the tv on or off...I know...some of you are saying...what's a tuning fork???

Anyone remember the X-Ray machines at the Buster Brown shoe stores? You used to stick your foot in and "Look at all the cool bones!".
It was a teaser to sell the shoes- our shoes fit your foot properly!

ours had to be "clicked" slowly, otherwise the station you really wanted to get on would get passed up by "overclicking"

when i was growing up in the UK we had a milkman that would deliver the milk in glass bottles with a horse and kart. i loved the whole milk with the layer of cream on top, that was some good stuff on my corn flakes.

Wow, you don't look old enough to have had a milkman like that. Maybe they kept traditions longer in the UK?
