Just order one for a flint mica sedan.

EDIT: nevermind, I forgot sedans have the antenna built into the rear windshield.

Just called the Toyota stealership and they wanted C$36.10 + taxes for an antennae mast on the 09 Matrix .

Um , pretty shitty imo from stock , but I use my Ipod most of the time anyways so , really all about looks .

I have the same antenna as Meteorite Marty from JDM Pit. If you don't wish to opt for the genuine one, there is a toyota style one (which looks exactly the same mind you) and costs 9.90US. Take your pick. =)

I'm on the NJ shore and got my stubby about a week ago and I can tell ya that the FM reception is crap in comparison to the stock antenna. AM is still AM but FM stations that I got in crystal clear are now not so clear. (not that I listen to much FM anyways, but still)

Agreed. I installed short stubby antennas on both my ex-Mini Cooper S and Mazda 3; reception of AM is still OK, but noticed FM reception deteriorated. Short antennae is for looks, but definitely don't expect the same reception as the OEM "RC" antennae.
