What is all this?? I have driven small cars since 1957, and the only real hazard is not being seen! Why would anyone drive a car that is already not all that visible go out of one's way to make it even worse?

Whatever, go for it, just remember whre you saw it first.

Polar never did say why he wanted to disconnect this safety feature but i'll assume he is into hypermiling and wants to save some money.
Be aware that BC laws require that if the vehicle was produced with daytime running lights those lights must be operating properly in order to drive legally today.

I had to disable my DRL's for my HID's. But just because you disable your DRL's, doesn't mean you're not going to drive with your headlights on during the day. I always do.
