I'm looking to upgrade my stock battery and I want something good. I've had many DieHards and have gotten stranded by more than one so Sears and their horrible customer service is not an option for me...
but... but... but... it's not chrome?

how are you guys mounting the smaller batteries?

also found that a sears battery is too tall for the stock battery tie down.

We went with an Optima Red Top simply b/c we needed reliability before weight savings and it was the right height for the stock tie down (using the supplied spacers). (that and we needed it Immediately). :)

The Braille batteries come with a rubber tie-down kit. Don't know about the other brands

DUDE it doesnt take that much voltage to charge the car. Try putting together a Flux capacitor, gerbal, Exercise wheel, AAA battery and 6" of wire and your good.
