According to the manual you don't need to hold it past start, the engine will automatically "turn over" until it starts. I think it gives up after 15 seconds or something like that. When it's been very very cold here it's taken mine 4-5 seconds to start, but I've never had to hold it in.
Generally when I start the car, I crank the key all the way quickly and just let go, the car does the rest by itself. |
