I'll also say that more often than not, people that buy big wheels for their Yarii end up regretting it and getting smaller wheels, myself being one of those. Low profile rubber on an econobox can make for an annoying ride. Altitude, I'm not trying to steal your thunder... I know you're an exception to this and I agree that larger wheels look better on the liftback, but man do they get bumpy. I used to have 17's with a 40 profile tire and was thrilled to go back to a 15" wheel with 55 rubber. |

I'm with you, not only do I also have a Wrangler (05 LJ) but I also run larger tires on my Yaris (215/45ZR17 Riken Raptor ZR tires on American Eagle MSR Style 138 rims with +42mm of backspacing). Sure, I know I sacrifice a little gas mileage with the larger tires; but the car looks so much better with those wheels on it! There is a stock Yaris where I work and sometimes we park next to each other. The difference is significant! Cheers! M2 |
