Hills? Google any part of BC and watch the altimeter go nuts, those are hills! We have mountains as well, one of the kids lives 2 ranges over, two more 2 ranges the other way. 5500' passes are the easy route. What does this have to do with mileage?
Our sedan runs in the 50mpgUS range on trips, 40-odd locally, but this has to do with driving style: never pull below 2000, never go over 4000, never floor it, yet I have no problem keeping up with traffic. I always gear down rather than apply full throttle to maintain speed up a hill. The car is peppy, and I enjoy its performance, but it has been some years since I lost the urge to race... Sounds like a good deal, no way can you go wrong. |
