Antenna Damage Inc...
So I stupid forgot to remove my stubby antenna before running through a car wash and this happened:
It appears that I'm missing that last black piece at the top... Any advice on where to begin with fixing it? A part from Toyota? DIY ? |

If the wires aren't ripped out, you may just want to epoxy it back in.
The damaged part is part of the Antenna Amplifier Assembly (Toyota part number: 86300-52290). It's list price is over $200. The missing factory whip antenna is 86309-52040. |

Good lookin' out! For now I have wrapped it secure w/ black electrical tape and I still have my whip antenna but I never plan to put it back in. I'll look into that part number. That price is just stupid.
