Trust me, removing rear seats and getting rid of useless junk from the rear, definatly makes the car feel faster.
In my case, I removed nearly 100lbs from the back because of my 60/40 split seats. Saved maybe 6 lbs total by replacing the front seats with racing seats. It all adds up.
