Will the headlight switch from a Prius also fit the Yaris? Found one from a 04-09 Prius

No. The Prius headlight switch has different connectors.

Does the Prius headlight switch physically fit in the Yaris though? Could we possibly get a Prius headlight stalk connector and swap the Yaris pins into it for it to work?

Just wondering if any of this is possible since a Prius headlight switch with fog control can be found for half or less than half the cost of the Yaris stalk with fog control.

I believe the stalk would fit, but the function is very different as the Prius headlight stalk is an input device for the body ECU, which then does the light control switching. It most likely could be made to work, but may require adding a couple of relays.

I wish I had the brains to do this and the seat warmer mod. CT Scott walked me through one mod and it worked great. This rear wiper mod is one I've waited for CTS to solve but it is beyond my mental limitations. I'm thinking of getting an IQ so I'll have more room to work on my Isetta project. The IQ is nearly 30" shorter than the Yaris. I wonder where the IQ crowd will get its problem solvers?

Thanks ctscott. I have been looking for months and finally found one on eBay.

Just ordered it and will be getting a stalk that came from a 2004-07 Lexus RX330. Hope everything works out.

Total cost is ~$62 shipping included.

Just my luck, I couldn't get this stalk to work.

It's for an 04-07 Lexus RX330:

MIST, OFF, LO, HI mode all work normally, but when I set it to "AUTO" nothing happens. One other thing is when I pull up the lever towards me, the windshield washer shoots out but the wipers do not "auto swipe" to clear the washer fluid off the glass.

I guess its either the stalk is defective or it isn't compatible with the Yaris.

I'm not sure where the P/N is but here are some numeric markings on the stalk:

The 0E020 is part of the 84652-0E020 part number. That stalk is for the RX330 that is equipped with "Rain Sensing Wipers", hence the "Auto" mode.

Thanks Scott --is there a way to trick the stalk's rain sensors / make it behave like stock?

I am betting yes, but I haven't found an EWD for the auto wipers yet.
