Id have to disagree the cupholders being "unusable", I use mine for everything from pen holding, to holding mcdonalds drinks(coke and coffee) up to Coke bottles, starbucks cups, and I have never had a drink spill, and I dont drive smooth around turns
 . Such a sad thing to happen to a car, hope no one got seriously hurt out of that.
