the best thing to do I found is wet sand the area with 600 grit aprox 6" on either side of the scratch...
Then go buy a color match paint pen and cheap $20 air brush... dump some of the paint into the air brush, thin it slightly then spray the scratch. be careful and practice first with the air brush because you just spray the scratch not the area around it... After a few coats do the same thing with clear but spray aprox 3" wide area over the scratch. Then wet sand everything with 2500 after it dries to smoothen out any scratches left from the 600 grit, then polish to a mirror shine. if you don't want to use an air brush , use a paint pen to fill the scratch, then wet sand just the repaired scratch to blen it with the surrounding paint, then polish it...
