for not racing (which would have been pointless anyway).

It's one of things I like about myself ever since buying my Yaris - not driving like an idiot!! It's funny what it does to your driving style when you only have 106 ponies or so. I'm sure it's also true with most of you but I enjoy just being a conservative safe driver now and getting my 40 mpg.

My previous car was a '93 [Lexus] SC400 (250 hp V-8). Let's just say when you have that kind of power, it turns on the aggression and you do stupid things.

I like driving the Yaris with nothing to prove. Anyone with a brain should know that and this guy in the EVO is an idiot for thinking you would race him.

That's like someone in a Porsche pulling alongside a Camry and wanting to race.

Seriously. One of the main reasons why I bought a Yaris was because of the fuel efficiency, not the performance.

Garm, you really need to quit pissing off the Evo community...

Just another Dickhead with an Evo/STI that thinks they are hot stuff...
I promise you he would never do the same to a Mustang GT/Cobra, Pontiac GTO, probably wont even race other 4cyl turbos (SRT-4,Mazdaspeed3's)

I like ignoring challenges, especially from ones that make no sense. I had a guy in a 1995 Jeep Cherokee wanting to race. I mean really, Fast and the Furious movies really mess with peoples heads...

I get the same thing all the time when I take this toy out for a ride...

Certain vehicles just draw the attention of these numbnuts.

Cheers! M2

Yeah, blow the idiot a big, sloppy kiss; they really don't know how to react to that. Also, when some guy blasts away from a stoplight, I always give him a big round of applause at the next light; works better when there are other people in your car to join in...

I like to catch up to these guys at a stoplight, rev the motor, pop ahead a bit, concentrate on the light... they read this as, "the race is ON". Light goes green, they stand on it. I turn right (or left)...

I won't do stop-light races (no point, really, unless it's a Yugo) but I do love having some a%%hole crawl up my tail befor an off-ramp or a nice twisty, trying to push me faster down the highway, only to have him chicken out when I don't slow down for the curve
I won't race the douches, but it's fun to watch them recede in the mirror.

Same thing happens to me on onramps. Funny how big the distance becomes, and I'm not even taking the onramp that fast.

I LOVE 3RD GEAR for this reason!! I usually don't brake coming into it.

Driver slows down, and matches my speed right next to me in the slow lane. He gases it enough to set off the BOV. I mind my own business and don't respond. He does it two more times. I finally look (not like I can see anything) and it's raining. Anyway, I ignore the challenge, and keep chugging along. Next thing I know is the driver lowers his window partially and gives me a thumbs down, and exits...anyway, I would think EVO owners know about cars, so I would think the driver would have known that he has almost 3 times as much hp as our cars, and is AWD compared to FWD. So why would he even challenge me in the first place? I would have gotten my ass kicked from the get-go. It was also raining, and I don't street race anyway.
Probably recall my rant about that racer who decided it would be fun to pull into my lane? I don't know if it's because we're confused with FITs or CRXs or what have you.

BTW, lots of sleepers out there. Who knows what someone is going to shoe horn under the hood of a Yaris some day?

I'll find it sad if a person thinks a car with VG's on its roof is trying to be a baby EVO...I mean, the EVO isn't the only car that comes with them:

STi (hawk-eye)

hahaha, is that because it's on a wing? I'd like to that, but there are no roof spoilers for our sedans
