Um - yes....
I had a section of my commute in the UK that was back-roads (REALLY twisty lanes in behind Borden, Hants, for those who know the area) and one turn was a 120 onto a brick bridge. The farm on the other side of the bridge was a cow farm, and if the cows had been moved from the field on one side of the road to the home fields, there would be a thick layer of cowshit on the road. The first time I found out about this I actually bounced from side to side of the bridge as I went across it. No damage apart from some minor scuffing on the rubber. Mind you, those cars are LIGHT!
Never repeated that midstake.
