would buy one without a doubt if I had any need at all for another vehicle but the family vehicles are all fairly new. I'd consider trading the Yaris in for one too but since the dealerships are closing I doubt they need any extra used vehicles... so looks like I'm staying right where I'm at.

As nice as the Charger looks still I'd never get a Chrysler. If the one I buy breaks down (and you know it will), who's gonna fix it? One of the tumbleweeds at the place I got it from? Also towing it way out of my way to another dealership sounds totally pointless. IMHO It's not worth it, for any price

I've had three, and managed to thankfully sell the first one before it got to bad. First was a '87 Dodge Omni, 2.2L carbed, auto. No reverse @ 90k miles, power steering ate itself and I had to install manual steering system, no power (but great MPG), sold it to my dumb Ex for a grand with the only upgrades being stereo and nice 16's.
Second was a '92 Dodge Caravan fully loaded, 3.3L V6, auto. At 135k miles it dropped a valve, ruining the engine. Turns out the 3.3L is next to impossible to find, and a 3.0L won't bolt to the 3.3L auto tranny. 3rd was my '89 Chrysler LeBaron GTC conv. 2.5L turbo, modded to 350hp. Caught fire twice, the 2nd time it totalled the car. No chrsylers for me thanks. |
