I think you should edit your profile where you state your future plans as getting a set of 17's.

I am certainly considering the 16's. The way I see it, if I'm going to spend good money on replacing my stock's, then why go the same size which look small?

Plus, those of you so against 17's, take another look at Kaotic's car (mine is a Flint Mica S sedan too) and tell me you don't think this looks good or isn't necessary.
