Consumer Reports Samurai test was indeed tainted, and Suzuki sued
CR. They settled out of court.

However, the damage was done, and many Americans still think "roll over" when they think Suzuki--any Suzuki--which hurt the company quite badly in terms of PR. (I also own a 2009 Suzuki SX4 AWD, by the way.)
