Wow, that could have totally blown!
Man, I drove to Santa Cruz and back twice over a two day period and I'm surprised then that my crappy, old, hand me down Gorilla lugs held on. ![]() Seriously though, WTF CalTrans? I'm glad that when you repave a section you just leave an abrupt 2 inch drop that is just wonderful to hit at 75. Also repaving only enough to get HALF a lane.
