So how 'bout that Ecometer by Auto meter?

The meter actually underestimated the average mpg (meter read ~49.x mpg). However, I need to stick to one gas pump (at a gas station) to really see where the difference might come from.

Nice! I agree-the meter gets close enough that is makes you wonder which is more accurate, the pump method or the meter.

I've noticed it sometimes takes a couple of seconds to register when I first start driving, but have not noticed any lag time after that. I'll keep a closer eye for it here in the next few days.
