same also goes for "up" sizing the wheels.

a 17" wheel with the same overall diameter tire will "appear" to have more wheel gap then the stock wheels.

I've actually found a proper low(er) offset actually makes the high ride height look better, although that could be a personal preference.

Yeah. That's my experience as well with +1/+2 applications.
