yeah how come noone wants to do it is what i say... I know there are lots of Members who have been running Zage for years and so far they havent reported anything wrong. Replace the parts that seem a little sneaky and ur good to go right?

I think one problem's convenience... as affordable as this kit may be, until we have a turbo solution that's as "simple" to install as the Blitz SC (bolt this here, bolt this there, splice these wires, go!), we're not gonna see many turboed Yarii anytime soon.

Doubtful, I'm quite sure they'll be mostly identical to your stock one. There again we need someone to show us exactly how to make an aftermarket piggyback work properly. It's been done, Blitz can do it with their fuel controller, it's just a matter of figuring out the trick so that anyone can do it

A turbo is a pretty 'deep' project for someone's daily driver. Even a proven bolt-on kit would only be popular with certain owners, and I think very few of us.
I'd like to see cdyjded (sp) post wiring diagrams and step by step for the AEM FIC. Now THAT would be a large step in the right direction. And how about those overseas guys with successful installations? Why aren't we sharing technical data??

^ that's exactly what I've been waiting for as well. It's one thing to say that an FIC has been installed successfully, but it's an entirely different thing to SHOW the rest of the community how they did it.

Castrex is saying that Boomslang is supposed to be releasing a PnP harness for the FIC to be used with the Yaris

Who said Yaris was slow?
|
I wrote to Boomslang over week ago and they CONFIRMED they were coming out with a PnP patch for the Yaris. They already had the connectors and the harness should be out any time...
