just chiming in
I just had a 2008 Scion tC. On the drivers side are the two switches which both do FULL up and down. The passenger side has a single switch with Full up and down. There is no resistance sensing switch that I was ever able to tell. In fact you just kept holding the switch up or down to program the full open or close distance. BTW I looked see if they could be adapted to the Yaris, but no go unless you want to do some soldering.
