You just need to get rid of the fenders, then there's plenty of clearance for bigger wheels.
Having recently done some creative suspension rework on my eBay crashed Yaris, I noticed that in the front you could add about 4" without too much trouble, by using longer struts and springs. The inner tripod joints wouldn't be super happy, but you can pick up complete axles on eBay for under $80, so you could consider them to be 20,000 mile consumables.
