had to use a dremel to have the projector fit in the housing. the original hole for the stock bulb was too small and could not fit the projector. good thing it was checked before i sprayed the housing black. just taped off the headlights, and getting ready to spray.

i dont think they come any cheaper;but i don't think you need to buy them either. i only set my oven to 215 and preheat for 10 minutes and let the headlights sit in there for 4 min and that was enough time to pry it open. all ovens are different so you have to decide how long you want to put them in there for. one of the headlights actually melted in the back a little bit after only being in there for four minutes. so keep an eye on it

I don't think the cut off will be affected. I will probably repaint them and try them out next weekend.

^ He meant by the eyelids, I think.
Brian, great DIY and thank you for taking the time to post it. Looks good and it seems the issues were minor. Are the halos nice and bright?

It looks the same as any other HID bi-xenon bulb. Sorry don't have any pics. Maybe Peterpoop can snap a pic before he finishes.

hmm okay
well the installation definitely seems easy enough with your diy brian. greatly appreciated one thing; i just read peter's diy and i know that he had to make the whole bigger for the projectors, but you didn't. and i dont own a dremel. did you have to use a dremel for anything?
