Who said Yaris was slow?

It uses about 4.25Lts. So you need to buy 5 liters of oil.
The transmission uses about 1.75lts so you need to buy to 2 liters of oil. |

We do NOT have a steering pump in case you haven't noticed... Our steering is electric not hydraulic. There are no aftermarket brake pads to my knowledge... I've been looking for them as well. But don't worry, the OE are pretty good. Usually just getting some high performance brake fluid is enough in case you want to track / race your car. You need 2 bottles of brake fluid for this car. I recommend Motul RBF600 or ATE Racing blue Last edited by CASTREX; 09-30-2009 at 04:15 PM. |

If you don't abuse your car as I do just stick with the recommended factory intervals. That's all the car really needs under regular driving conditions. I just feel better about my tranny knowing that I have the best quality liquid in there ; ) Regarding the brake fluid... ATE super racing blue DOT4 is made in Germany and used by many sport European cars. I sure you should be able to get it in your country. Just ask on any Mercedes dealer. You should also be able to use MOTUL RBF600. That is also made in Europe! |
