The belt is very easy to change yourself, and if I remember right, I only paid $15 for the belt at Napa auto parts. You just have to loosed two bolts on the alternator mount, slip the old one off, slip the new one on, put a little tension on the alternator, and tighten the bolts. It was literally a 10 minute job to put a new one on Crashy.

just need regular rachet and socket right? u remember what mm is it? heh. thanks. i think our drain plugs are 14mm i forgot. should i wd-40 the bolts on the alternator first?
