You're entitled to your opinion, but I don't get what basis you have for speculating that the fiesta will "die" any sooner than other cars. Pretty much every brand of modern car on the road - other than Chrysler passenger cars - seem to be capable of 200k+ miles with reasonable maintainence.
The last 5 years or so of Ford motors have been as good as any, and I am a long-time Ford hater.
That being said, if they decide to bring the European Fiesta RS to the US, I'll probably be selling my Yaris. The Top Gear "test" sold me!
