after pondering all options, I decided a curt 11050 and Yakima double-down was
the best possible rack setup

[the conspicuity tape, I added. someone hits my rack they have no excuse. got hit
3 times on the 4runner over 10 years...idiots not seeing the rack and wanting to get all up ons...]
