I also wonder how he handles the physical and mental demand of driving an a average of 13 hours a day, everyday.

can I haz maths ?

it is only 313 miles a day.

not a 13 hour drive. not by a longshot.

maybe 5 or 6 hours driving plus delivery time.

looks like normal 8 or 10 hour days to me.

Florida DOT hours of service rules say you can be on duty for 16 hours straight, with up to 12 hours of that spent driving. Then you must take a 10 hour reset. Then you are allowed to do it all over again. And you are allowed to be on duty up to 80 hours in an eight day period. In other words, legally, you could be on duty 16 hours a day for five days straight and still be legal, but you could only be driving for sixty hours of that.

Thus, the guy behind the wheel of the semi-truck that is behind you may be completely overworked and sleep deprived, so don't get too close.

Not at all. I actually feel like Toyota designed the seats specifically for me. They are very comfortable and easy on my back, especially with 2 herniated discs in my lower back.

So where's the video triniper4mance?

Not because I need to see it, but because the only way to share the news with others is with video proof.

Congratulations on the 400K mark! I have hope for mine. Mine is also a 2007 "S", Although, I have much less mileage...more like 36K. I spend too much time overseas doing the military thing.

No worries on the parts...ours are made in Japan.

Thumbs up

seen an 2008 YARIS 3 door with 127 thousand plus miles . Used for a delivery business . Asked the driver and was kind enough to show the odometer . Good to know the YARIS is capable of hard mileage .

you better change your coolant and transmission oil. both of which are critical to the health of the engine and transmission.

IllusionX,

I believe I read in some of trini's earlier posts he has done the plugs as scheduled, IIRC.

Yeah, when he talks about how just about everything is original, he isn't counting the usual periodic wear items such as plugs, belt, tires, ect. It should be fairly obvious that items such as spark plugs aren't going 400,000 miles.
