I wouldn't wait 'til then to change plugs . Had the iridium plugs of a 2000 COROLLA done at around 80 thousand miles . Mileage got bumped up some and had better acceleration . Think they were DENSO plugs . If not then NGK .

Toyota can use the OP as a method to counter the difficulties they are going through these days...at least for our cars lol...simply amazing.

Remember it wasn't too long ago that odometers only had 5 digits. Automakers right through the '80's didn't even expect their cars to pass just 99,999 miles. Now, most cars don't even need a tune up or even their first repair until after 100K.
