oil viscosity in 2009 yaris

I just googled prices on the Motul and Total brand oils.... 5L jugs go for like $45 on the internet (plus shipping)... or $10 a quart. Unless I could get away with 20K mile intervals it'd be cheaper to just continue doing my 10K intervals with Mobile1 for $26. I'm sure those oils would be fine for around 15k... but 20... errr... i dunno.

The perceived performance difference can be great. M1 0w-30 is not a long life oil. look for ACEA A5/B5-04 or -08 for long drain capable mid HTHS oils. M1 5w-30 is semi synthetic and over priced compared to some of Mobils other oils (like the TDT or the HM 10w-30)
