Complaints are few and far between around here. After almost 5,000 miles on my meteorite metallic liftback, my only complaint is the back windshield washer dribbles down the glass rather than sprays. I'm taking him in for service this weekend, so maybe I'll have the techies look at that to see if it's a problem or the way it's supposed to work? Other than that, everything's great!

Same here (even the color!! Mine is an MT BTW). I guess the washer is supposed to be like that. However, ask them about it!!

So is mine. I think it is designed to operate that way. Smelly Tofu has got a valid point.
So don't worry Typer73. I think your rear window washer nozzle is fine.

Have just under 11,000 miles on our Yaris HB - running great. Only even minor complaint is a sometime slight rattle/vibration noise from dash face just below steering wheel.

Just turned 10,000 miles on our 2006 4Runner Sport V8 - also ZERO problems. This SUV is a rocketship when you need to get on it, and takes rough roads and bumps like they are nothing. We use it to tow our 2,100 lb Aframe folding trailer ('03 Chalet Arrowhead).

We went from two Fords (a '97 Explorer XLT & a '98 Ranger XL - they were also very trouble free at 114,000 and 90,000 miles, respectively) to two Toyotas. Very happy.

Put yourself in this situation. You are following a Yaris doing 30mph or something. The driver turns on the rear washers and it sprays (rather than dribbles). Where do you think most of the water will end up?

Well, you wouldn't be following my Yaris... I NEVER do 30mph!

Wow, not many problems.

I've been collecting my own reliability info, but haven't started with the Yaris yet because too few are signed up. In general Toyota's have the lowest repair rates, about 0.3 repair trips to the shop per year for nearly new cars.

First set of results:

TrueDelta Vehicle Reliability Survey results

The next set of results, which will be released by late February, won't have the Fit and Versa, but the third set, released in late May, will. If I can get enough Yaris signed up it will also be included in the May results.
