of course they are not perfect, but rusting to ruin within a year sounds like bs and the whole stuck pedal thing never happened to any Yari. Yari were not even recalled for it. The whole thing sounds highly improbable.

You guys need to learn that there is something else than the US. That is not meaned as an offense! Of course the Yaris in Europe was affected by the recall because TMMF uses CTS pedals and NOT Denso pedals like your Yaris from Toyota Japan. And there have been a few reported issues about stuck pedals (but no accidents).

I don't think a rusty wheel nut is some kind of "major problem". That's what i wanted to say. The brake issues are very common, especially with the rear disc brakes (i still don't know if you have discs or drums in the rear) and i told you how to get rid of it.
