I'm not trying to be a jerk, but to quit smoking you just have to....quit smoking.
DON'T put it in your mouth.
DON'T light it up.
DON'T smoke it.
So actually, you don't have to do anything.

I know someone who has also quit smoking from one day to another. With succes.

Actually, that is basically it, just quit.
However there are ways to make it a bit easier.
