I once hand polished a set of VW "phone dial" wheels with a friend. It took us two solid days but they came out with a MIRROR finish.

Those wheels are really nifty. Keep us posted!

They're not too heavy, being only 14" x 5". I'd guess maybe 13 or 14 lbs each?

Oh wow.. I'm using air tools and it's still taking forever - I can't imagine hand polishing.
