put ducttape on the clutch sensor and start the car via the key without pressing the clutch and see what happens.
my vote is starter under the excess load but lets see

But it's hard to say it's the starter, since you can almost feel the car wanting to "lurch" forward. I might try your idea, but leave the parking brake off and see if the car tries to move forward. It "shouldn't" but I can at least try. Funny thing is, it was working for a few months when I would test it. But just recently it started acting up. |
